• This place was perfect. Completely relaxing and totally private. Everything was clean and cosy. Paul and co couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Can’t recommend this place more! I will be returning :)

• A unique one of a kind pretty lodge set in the hills with very little background noise. A great find, a great stay and a great host overall. We wanted peace and that’s what we got. Would highly recommend and Paul is extremely helpful, friendly and prompt to reply

• Had a wonderful time at oak lodge. It’s such a beautiful lodge, cosy, clean and comfortable. The surroundings are stunning - there’s so much outdoor space to enjoy and looking over the hills was lush!

The hot tub was fantastic and our little one loved it too!

There’s plenty of wildlife and nature in all directions and it’s incredibly peaceful, so listen out for the owls :)

Paul went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and perfect. He was so helpful with our check in and gave us loads of fantastic ideas in things to do nearby. Such a friendly and welcoming place. We would love to go back again and stay longer!

• Honestly, this was probably the best stay I’ve ever had.

Paul is an amazing host and sends a very detailed PDF full of information about your stay, perfect to help plan the things you’ll need to bring along.

The area is stunning, the views are immaculate, and the lodge is positioned perfectly to take it all in.

The hot tub was amazing, being chlorine free you need to make sure you don’t dirty the water too much over a long stay (especially in the summer heat), but it’s well worth it. Most refreshing hot tub we’ve ever been in!

The lodge was very clean and loads of amenities are provided. The shower is powerful and very warm.

The only issues we had, are the ones that are unavoidable when enjoying the outdoors! Paul makes sure to stock fly spray and a swatter to help out, and there’s a fan inside to help clear out any hot air.

Overall the stay was well worth the money and we can’t wait to return. I’ve lots more to say but not enough space!

• Absolutely loved this little gem. Me and my husband have had such a lovely weekend. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings and the Lodge was just perfect. Very quirky beautiful furnishings very comfortable bed amazing shower and everything you need. Paul is an amazing host nothing was to much trouble always quick to respond to messages and happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Paul’s son Ed who kindly took our bags on arrival. Loved meeting the chickens and molly the collie is a lovely dog. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks again to you for making our long awaited stay so perfect. All the best of luck with the Dome which we can’t wait to try next.
